Nature as Mentor: Lessons from the Jungle

On the cusp of quitting my corporate job in 2021, I found myself on a small island off the Yucatan Peninsula with one of my closest friends. We’d arrived feeling stuck, burned out, and in desperate need of an escape.

Over the course of 5 days, we experienced what we later dubbed our “unintentional wellness retreat,” enjoying everything from yoga and meditation to a nighttime kayaking sound bath.

The most formative moment of that trip? I successfully convinced my willing friend to sign up for the “Divine Feminine Workshop.”

“I don’t know what the Divine Feminine is, but I’m in!

This workshop changed my life. It introduced me to the idea of feminine & masculine energies and helped me put my career experience into perspective. I realized then the impact of working the way I had for so long had resulted in my complete disconnection from my feminine side.

Those 90 minutes were the start of me embracing the healing powers of water, the creative source within each of us, and the divine desire for balance between our feminine and masculine energies.

It was the start to my dancing in the kitchen while cooking dinner, savoring every cup of tea I made for myself, and being truly present with myself and the world around me.

This week, I’m heading back to Mexico for a Divine Feminine Retreat, joining 18 women to connect with our power and purpose.

My intention for the retreat is simple: connect deeper with the teaching of the divine feminine to further my service to high-performing women like you.

And while I’m away, I invite you to connect to the divine feminine through the sounds of this playlist.
