An affirmation to Slow Down Time
We can so easily get trapped in a time crunch of our own making, pulled in many directions, with many priorities competing for our energy. But what if we trusted that we had all the time we needed to get everything done that’s meant to get done?
Let’s break it down.
When we’re living in alignment with our values, time expands. We have the energy, time and resources to bring our dreams to fruition. We have the clarity and courage to make choices about our priorities. It’s when we start doing things that are out of alignment that the time crunch gets real.
So, next time you’re feeling like you just don’t have time… ask yourself what is out of alignment here? Let that fall away, and remember you have all the time you need.
A song by Jessie Ware
Feel good vibes incoming… infused with endless messages to remind you to ENJOY the journey. It’s the first verse that got me hooked, reminding us that chasing our dreams doesn’t have to be a grind – it can be fun and full of joy, too. What message do you hear?
A practice Eating Together
I’m just coming off of an incredible retreat in Tulum with 18 women. While I’ll share more about the transformational temazcal, the joy of dancing under the stars and the moments of clarity that came through, it was the communal meals that left the biggest mark. We laughed, we cried, we prayed over our food and shared our dreams.
We felt connected.
I’m sure you’re aware of the loneliness epidemic in our country, so I won’t wax on about how the impact of being socially disconnected is just as bad for you as smoking 15 cigarettes a day.
So as I settle back home, I invite you to eat in community this week. Invite a friend, neighbor, or family member over for a meal.
Make it easy and do take-out. This time, it’s not about the recipe you choose, but the people you have around your table.
Don’t have the time? Refer to the affirmation above. ;)
