John Mayer’s still got it
Meditation has been a critical part of my journey since I first began practicing in 2014. While those early years were filled with sporadic sessions, everything changed when I committed to consistency in 2021.
During that time of personal and global transition, meditation became my anchor, helping me navigate uncertainty with greater presence and clarity. When I took on my first client, I knew I wanted to share this practice. So now we start every session with a channeled and personalized meditation.
In the last month, I've received numerous requests to record my meditation sessions for others to experience. And guess what… it’s in the works!
Why Meditate?
My journey from random meditation to daily consistency happened when I got clear on my WHY. For me, it was all about relationships: meditation helped me shift into better connections with myself and others, handle disagreements better, and be more open to love.
Meditation created space for me to recognize patterns, release what wasn't serving me, and approach each interaction with more presence.

The 4 Essential Shifts: Stress Relief to Limitless Potential
Meditation isn't just a wellness trend – it's a powerful tool for transformation that creates four essential shifts:
From Fear to Love: Every emotion we experience lives somewhere on the spectrum between fear and love. Fear contracts and restricts. Love expands and creates. Meditation helps us shift into a space of love and compassion, enabling healthier communication and stronger relationships.
From Stress to Digest: When we meditate, we activate our parasympathetic nervous system – our "rest-and-digest" mode. This physiological shift allows us to access better decision making, feel more calm and present, and literally digest our food more effectively.
From Limited to Limitless: Meditation helps us tap into the limitless potential of the human experience. Imagine showing up with an open heart, seeing each moment full of opportunity and potential. Imagine truly believing in that what you desire, desires you.
From Mind to Body: Perhaps most importantly, meditation moves us out of our racing thoughts and into our physical being. Being deeply connected to our bodies is a key foundation of empowerment, linking us to the most powerful intelligence within us—our heart.
For reflection: Am I ready for a meditation practice? Why, or why not?
Activate Your Prana: Live Music’s Role in Energy Renewal
Over the last 10 days, I was blessed with three nights of live music… and I have been positively floating in gratitude ever since. It got me thinking:
Is live music better for the soul than its digital counterpart?
In Ayurvedic medicine, there's a concept of prana, or “life force.” Prana is our energy, and the closer the food is to the source, the more prana, or nourishment, it holds. A farm-fresh tomato, for example, holds more vitality than a can of crushed tomatoes turned into sauce (sadly).
Does being physically present with musicians as they create sound allow us to absorb the messages and vibrations more deeply than through a Spotify playlist?
My answer? 100% yes.
At last week's Dead & Co concert at the Sphere, I felt completely immersed in the sounds, visuals, and rumblings (yes! even the seats were a part of the show!). There was so much energy – life force – running through me. The experience was transformative. Even though I've been physically tired since returning from my 3-day trip to Las Vegas, I've also felt mentally and emotionally energized.
I glided through the entire experience, in absolute awe, deeply grateful to share those moments with my brother and dad. In those hours of music and connection, I felt completely present – fully alive in every cell of my body.
For reflection: What experiences fill you with energy? Where do you feel most vibrant, most connected to your prana, your life force?
This week, I invite you to seek out at least one experience that brings you closer to something real, something that makes your soul hum with recognition.
Your life force is waiting to be renewed.
